STRATEGIC PLANNING

STRATEGIC INTEGRATION OF LARGE-SCALE MINING OPERATIONS – PERU

REDCO carried out a strategic planning study for the integration of two large-scale mining operations in the Andes Mountains. The work included the development of strategic mine plans covering sequencing, cut-off grade definition and the preparation of mine plans, with the aim of supporting a transition to a movement of 560 ktpd and a plant feed of 110 ktpd.

MINE ENGINEERING STUDIES, MINING SYSTEMS SIMULATION

DYNAMIC SIMULATION FOR MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEM DESIGN – ARGENTINA

REDCO developed a dynamic simulation study to assess the robustness of a copper–molybdenum project located in the Andes Mountains, characterized by extreme climatic conditions and heavy snow accumulation. The analysis focused on validating the planning and design of the open pit, together with the definition of the material handling system from primary crushing to transport via overland conveyors.

MINE ENGINEERING STUDIES, STRATEGIC PLANNING

MINE–PLANT–PORT PREFEASIBILITY STUDY – PERU

REDCO developed a prefeasibility study aimed at defining a strategic solution for the development of a copper–molybdenum deposit. The work was based on the application of the Hill of Value (HOV) methodology, which made it possible to assess different combinations of extraction and recovery methods in oxide, sulphide and mixed zones, considering multiple production rates and their impact on project viability.
