The company took part in Congreso ACADES 2026 with the aim of identifying strategic opportunities in the water project portfolio of Chile and Peru, which exceeds US$ 74,000 million in estimated investment.

REDTEC Technology, the technology arm of REDCO Mining Consultants, made its presence felt at the recent Congreso ACADES 2026, the leading gathering of the desalination and water reuse industry in Latin America.

The firm’s delegation, made up of General Manager Rodrigo Valdés and Commercial Manager Kevin Llecllish, focused its agenda on identifying opportunities within the market.

REDTEC’s presence at the event focused on showcasing its technical capability across all variants of trenchless technologies (trenchless technology), such as HDD (horizontal directional drilling), pipe jacking, microtunneling, TBM and submarine outfalls.

The company’s competitive advantage lies in the synergy between REDCO’s more than 20 years of experience in the mining sector and its full command of advanced underground solutions. This combination aims to solve water transport challenges and critical crossings in projects of high technical complexity.

During the congress, the executives held high-level meetings with key industry players, including global developers such as IDE Technologies and engineering multinationals such as AYESA, as well as with the public sector through the Minister of Public Works, Martín Arrau. The company’s interest is focused on desalination projects registered in Chile —with particular emphasis on the northern regions of the country—, as well as on the ProInversión portfolio in Peru for the 2026-2028 period. The company’s goal is to continue contributing cutting-edge technology to optimize processes in the most critical operations, expanding its technical and commercial impact not only in Chile but also in the Peruvian market.
