REDCO WILL TAKE PART IN CONEIMIN 2025 WITH A TECHNICAL PRESENTATION AND A VISIT TO ITS GEOTECHNICAL MONITORING CENTER

As part of the XVIII National Congress of Mining Engineering Students (CONEIMIN 2025), organized by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú for this month of August, REDCO will take part through academic activities and engagement with the educational environment.

On the one hand, on 12 August, Arnold Tadeo —a specialist in underground mining and open pit from REDCO’s Design & Planning UG team— will deliver the presentation “Trade-off of mining methods for a copper deposit”, addressing from a technical and strategic perspective the criteria involved in the selection of mining extraction methods under conditions of technical and economic viability.

Additionally, REDTEC —REDCO’s Geotechnical Monitoring Center— will host a group of Mining Engineering students as part of a technical visit organized jointly with CONEIMIN. This activity will allow attendees to gain first-hand insight into the work carried out in the early stages of mining projects, with a focus on geotechnical analysis, modeling and risk assessment.
