REDCO LANDS IN CANADA TO STRENGTHEN MINING INTEGRATION BETWEEN NORTH AMERICA AND LATIN AMERICA

Boutique mine engineering consultancy REDCO announced the start of its operations in Vancouver, consolidating its presence in one of the leading mining hubs worldwide. This opening marks a milestone in the company’s international expansion process, seeking to strengthen its role as a technical partner in the execution of projects in both North America and Latin America.
The arrival in Canada comes at a key moment for the sector. The growing alignment between the North American and Latin American markets, driven by milestones such as the recent critical minerals collaboration agreement between Canada and Peru, is opening up new opportunities for investment, technology transfer and cooperation between regions. In this context, Canada has intensified its national mining strategy, prioritizing the reduction of regulatory gaps and the acceleration of projects in provinces with high potential, such as Ontario.
For REDCO, operating from Vancouver makes it possible to integrate top-tier technical capabilities across every stage of the mining cycle, from planning and design through to the optimization of operations in the field. This new base acts as a strategic bridge that not only opens up new markets but also reinforces its responsiveness and continuous support for the projects the firm already develops in North America.
“Our expansion into Canada responds to a long-term vision aimed at positioning REDCO in the industry’s main development hubs. Being here allows us to support and execute projects in Latin America from a highly demanding and competitive business environment,” explained Gonzalo Díaz, Mining Director at REDCO Canada. The consultancy noted that over the coming months it will disclose the full scope of its new Canadian operation and the specific opportunities this opening represents for its international portfolio.
