NETWORKING AT PERUMIN: SPACES THAT STRENGTHEN TIES AND GENERATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Beyond the conferences and the technical exhibition, PERUMIN 37 was also the setting for social and corporate gatherings that brought together the leading players in global mining. During the week, Arequipa became a convergence point for representatives of mining companies, suppliers, authorities and consultancies, who took part in various receptions and cocktail events that accompanied the convention.
Among the most notable events was the Mine & Mingle Cocktail, organized by Veracio and Boart Longyear at the Club Arequipa; the Golden Mining Gala, held at the historic Casa del Moral under the sponsorship of CONAMIN, the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú and companies such as Buenaventura, BCP and Summa Gold; as well as the reception hosted by Herrenknecht AG, which brought together representatives of large-scale mining and strategic supplier companies.
The agenda also included the Cóctel Alemania PERUMIN 37, driven by the Peruvian-German Chamber (AHK Perú), and the traditional Chile Night, organized by ProChile. At the latter, the role of ProChile as a facilitator of the internationalization of service and solution companies was highlighted, a space in which REDCO recognizes itself as an active part of that strategy to project its capabilities toward key markets. Finally, there was also the Maple & Misti Cocktail, organized by the Canada–Peru Chamber of Commerce, which brought together a large group of business leaders around bilateral cooperation.
The REDCO delegation was present at these gatherings with the participation of Rodrigo Valdés (Business Development Manager), Eduardo Lama (Country Manager Peru), Jorman Barrera (Principal Engineer) and Alejandra Montalván (Business Development Coordinator). Their presence made it possible to consolidate relationships with current clients, explore synergies with new partners and position the company’s hallmark in high-visibility international spaces.
“These gatherings reflect the essence of PERUMIN as a space that goes beyond the technical. They give us the chance to talk in a closer way, identify common interests and envision collaborations that strengthen the mining value chain. For us, they are events that complement and enhance our work on the commercial and strategic front”, said Rodrigo Valdés, Business Development Manager.
