MINING FINANCING AND VENTURE CAPITAL: REDCO TAKES PART IN SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY THE COMISIÓN MINERA

The Comisión Minera held the seminar “Bolsas de Capital de Riesgo y Financiamiento de Proyectos Mineros”, an event that brought together specialists from the financial and mining sectors at the Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile. The meeting drew professionals from several countries and was presented as a forum for analyzing the current challenges of financing in mining.
Among those attending were Matías Fuentes, Engineering Manager, and Pedro Aguiluz, Business Development Director of REDCO Mining Consultants, who represented the boutique consultancy at the event.
The seminar addressed topics such as mechanisms for accessing stock market financing, the integration of the Santiago, Lima and Colombia exchanges (NUAM), and the role of the capital market in consolidating sustainable projects. National and international speakers, among them representatives of the Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF), NUAM-ScaleX, FEXMIN and Minería Activa, agreed that transparency and trust are essential pillars for attracting responsible investment and strengthening the sector’s competitiveness.
For REDCO, the seminar was an opportunity to strengthen its links with the financial ecosystem and to share its view of the value of independent technical knowledge in the evaluation and structuring of mining projects. Drawing on its experience in applied engineering and asset valuation, the firm reaffirmed its commitment to fostering forums for dialogue that connect engineering with the processes of investment, risk management and responsible financing in the mining industry.
