PREFEASIBILITY STUDY FOR AN INTEGRATED EXTRACTION AND TRANSPORT SYSTEM – PERU

REDCO carried out a prefeasibility study to assess the viability of an integrated ore transport system at an operating polymetallic mining complex. The objective was to establish a long-term development strategy that would ensure production continuity, optimizing efficiency in the extraction and haulage of ore to the plant.

The analysis was based on the construction of Life of Mine (LOM) plans, which made it possible to define strategic scenarios of mineral resource consumption according to the different handling alternatives assessed. Beyond transport costs, the approach focused on a comprehensive view of the mining system, considering how each extraction and transport configuration contributed to the advance of the operation and to the overall optimization of the complex.
