DYNAMIC SIMULATION FOR MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEM DESIGN – ARGENTINA

REDCO developed a dynamic simulation study to assess the robustness of a copper–molybdenum project located in the Andes Mountains, characterized by extreme climatic conditions and heavy snow accumulation. The analysis focused on validating the planning and design of the open pit, together with the definition of the material handling system from primary crushing to transport via overland conveyors.

The work made it possible to verify the behavior of critical operational variables, anticipate risks to production continuity and support the design of the transport and processing system with a greater degree of technical reliability. This provided a solid basis for decision-making in later feasibility stages.

Services:

  • Feasibility assessment for the planning and design of material handling systems.
  • Dynamic simulation of operational variables in crushing and transport.
