REDCO PERU TOOK PART IN THE COCKTAIL RECEPTION FOR THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CANADA–PERU CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

REDCO’s office in Peru took part in the cocktail reception celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Canada–Peru Chamber of Commerce (CCCP), an event that brought together authorities, business sector representatives, the diplomatic corps and leaders involved in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The gathering was held on Thursday, November 20 at the Museo Pedro de Osma in Lima, and marked a milestone in the history of the CCCP, an institution founded in 1995 that has now established itself as a key player in promoting investment, trade and cooperation between Canada and Peru.

During the event, the Chamber’s General Manager, Carla Martínez, highlighted the community character the organization has acquired over its three decades of work, underscoring the role of its members and partners in building a space of trust and binational collaboration. Meanwhile, the President of the CCCP, Óscar Benavides, reviewed the Chamber’s institutional development, highlighting its sustained growth, its international reach and its active participation in strategic forums such as the PDAC mining convention in Toronto.

The CCCP currently has around 400 members, an established professional team and an agenda that spans not only the business sphere but also educational and social initiatives aimed at capacity building and strengthening ties between the two countries. REDCO Peru’s participation in this event is part of its engagement with organizations and forums that promote technical dialogue, responsible investment and international cooperation, particularly in strategic sectors such as mining and engineering, where Canada and Peru maintain a historic, high-impact relationship.
