REDCO’s mining consulting focuses on providing highly experienced consultants together with tools and processes developed in-house to address a variety of mining challenges, such as the operational turnaround, which consists of defining an operating and planning path aimed first at stabilizing a mining operation and, subsequently, achieving its optimization and growth.
This is done by articulating the core pillars of the mining business, such as the mineral resource inventory, metallurgical recovery methods, efficiency and costs, extraction methods and the incorporation of technology throughout the entire mining system.
Several REDCO consultants are certified as Qualified Persons in different areas —processing, resources, mineral reserves, geomechanics, costs, among others—, which enables them to prepare and review technical reports under international standards such as NI 43-101, JORC and SK1300.
REDCO has been engaged by private equity firms, banks and law firms specializing in mining law to advise on and review documents that are critical to investment decisions related to acquisitions, financing and international litigation.
We have the experience and the tools to assess the suitability of technological applications and digital initiatives, in order to reach different levels of automation, electrification and optimization in both open pit and underground mining. All of this on a solid foundation focused on mine design and planning, as well as on the enablers required to maximize the use of technology and digital applications.
