STRATEGIC INTEGRATION OF LARGE-SCALE MINING OPERATIONS – PERU

REDCO carried out a strategic planning study for the integration of two large-scale mining operations in the Andes Mountains. The work included the development of strategic mine plans covering sequencing, cut-off grade definition and the preparation of mine plans, with the aim of supporting a transition to a movement of 560 ktpd and a plant feed of 110 ktpd.
The study covered detailed annual plans for the open pits and the assessment of different material handling alternatives for ore and tailings, ensuring resource optimization, operational efficiency and the sustainability of production over the long term.
Services:
- Development of integrated strategic mine plans (Life of Mine).
- Optimization of sequencing and cut-off grades.
- Assessment of ore and tailings handling alternatives.
